About Arenas Immigration

Lourdes M. Arenas Rochelo is the owner and founder of Arenas Immigration. After working at several other Immigration Firms in the states of Texas, Florida and North Carolina, Ms. Arenas, the daughter of Cuban Immigrants, decided to open her own practice. It was in late 2013 that Ms. Arenas opened her first office located in Raleigh, NC and gave it her family's name, ARENAS IMMIGRATION. 

Arenas Immigration has grown from a solo practice to now having two full time immigration attorneys and several staff members. 

Our office is located in the capital of North Carolina, Raleigh. On Hillsborough Street, across from NC State University and minutes from downtown.

Lourdes M. Arenas Rochelo

Senior Attorney, Owner

Lourdes M. Arenas Rochelo is the owner and founder of Arenas Immigration. She graduated from the University of Miami with Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees. Mrs. Arenas has been licensed to practice law since 1992, and has practiced before immigration courts in Florida, Texas, Georgia and North Carolina. She began her own practice with her parents namesake in 2013. Mrs. Arenas is a member of the Florida Bar, American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. Mrs. Arenas currently serves as a board member of the NC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.


Omar Bashi

Associate Attorney

Omar Mazin Bashi is an Associate Attorney at Arenas Immigration. Mr. Bashi graduated from Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mr. Bashi received his Bachelor's Science Degree (with a Concentration in Business Management and Human Resource Management) from Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. During Law School, Mr. Bashi volunteered as a student attorney in the Charlotte School of Law Immigration Clinic and worked with individual clients as he prepared applications. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Bashi has practiced primarily in the area of immigration law.
